Despite my reservations, I couldn't help but feel grateful for the experience of watching "Maa". It was a powerful and moving film that had left a lasting impact on me. As I closed the laptop and headed to bed, I couldn't help but wonder if I would ever be able to find the movie again - or if it had been just a fleeting glimpse of something special.
The story of Maa revolves around Manjit Kaur (played by Divya Dutta), a woman who embodies the traditional yet fierce spirit of a mother. After the tragic loss of her husband, she takes it upon herself to raise her two sons, Jora (Gippy Grewal) and Taqdeer (Babbal Rai), amidst social prejudice and financial hardship.
