Unlike many romantic comedies from the same era, Ladies vs Ricky Bahl has aged surprisingly well in terms of pacing. Ranveer Singh’s debut as a lead (post Band Baaja Baaraat ) solidified his ability to play the "lovable rogue." The film’s twist—that the women are smarter than the man—was progressive for its time.
