Once expanded, the game files are bit-for-bit identical to a Steam or GOG installation. However, Returnal is notorious for stuttering on PC—even on high-end rigs—due to PSO (Pipeline State Object) caching and traversal stutter. The repack doesn’t fix or worsen this. It’s purely the game engine.
