Before the album, Omen (born Damon Coleman) was best known as one of the earliest signees to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music label. Unlike the bombastic production of labelmates Pusha T or Big Sean, Omen carved a lane as a contemplative, soulful lyricist.
