Most modern games separate rendering (what you see) from logic (what the game calculates). Red Alert 3 does not. If you force the game to run at 60 FPS via graphics drivers, the game simply runs at double speed. Units zoom across the map, production queues finish in half the time, and online play desyncs immediately.
