Babumoshai Bandookbaaz is not a perfect film. It has plot holes, a derivative feel, and moments of unnecessary stylization. However, it is incredibly entertaining. It is a gritty, sweaty, and violent love letter to the gangster genre, elevated by a powerhouse performance by Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
