The story is set in the beautiful city of , in the heart of Puglia. We follow Tommaso Cantone (played by Riccardo Scamarcio), who returns home from Rome with a plan to finally tell his traditional, pasta-making family that he is gay and wants to be a writer rather than take over the family business.
