Legitimate password recovery vendors constantly update their software to keep pace with Microsoft’s security patches. A "cracked" version found on a torrent is a static snapshot of the past. It may work on Excel files from 2013, but it is unlikely to crack the protection of a file created in a fully updated version of Microsoft 365.
