With Kontakt 7 and 8, Native Instruments reintroduced a native "Add Library" feature, but with a catch. The new method requires libraries to have a .nicnt file and be placed in a specific content folder managed by Native Access.
Run Native Access as an administrator on Windows.

The old Kontakt Add Library Tool still works perfectly on Kontakt 7 & 8. Moreover, it works for libraries that Native Access rejects (e.g., libraries with missing product IDs or cracked libraries – though we do not condone piracy).
