(Sacred Visitation of the Area) is one of the most profound and emotionally moving supplications in the Shia Islamic tradition. It is particularly unique because it is attributed to the 12th Imam, Imam al-Mahdi (atfs) , who describes the tragic events of Karbala through a deeply personal and graphic lens.
The Imam (atfs) describes the physical suffering—the severed arteries, the blood-dyed hair, the unclothed corpses, and the heads raised on spears.
