"Rescue Dawn" is a war drama film based on a true story. The movie follows a U.S. Navy pilot, Dieter Dengler (played by Christian Bale), who is shot down over Laos during the Vietnam War. Dieter is captured by the Pathet Lao, a communist organization, and held prisoner along with his fellow pilot, Duane (played by Steve Zahn).
